At first, I actually had to wonder if this was for real: Would a sitting elected official (county council member Kirby Delauter) really demand that a local reporter and newspaper not mention him without his authorization?! Is that even possible? Apparently, it is. Please note that this image is edited to remove all the other comments (including 24 before Bethanys response, and eleven more). Those include a few others by Kirby, and a number of other folks referring to Bethany as a useful idiot., or as unable to comprehend the words non-biased-journalism, or guilty of misconduct, etc., and ripping the News Post as bird cage liner, or a joke, or trash , or another newsletter for the Democrat part, or a liberal rag, or biased bastards, In this bizarre thread, one participant posted how, now that Jan Gardner is in office, his real estate taxes have been going up (even though she has only been in office for a month, and it is the council, not the executive that has the power to raise taxes). This wouldnt be worth serious attention, except for the fact that Kirby is on the new county council. Ill post a link (with a relevant excerpt -- the part where Delauter is mentioned) to the FNP article in the first comment below.
