At home a little early today with my feet up and anticipating a nap. Long day. But good day. Long to-do list. I started the day with a conference call about the possibility of adding a law school to the graduate school options available at Harding. Then I met with representatives from ESPN about our standing invitation to host Sports Center during Homecoming 2015. Then I called Governor Hutchinson and asked him to be the graduation speaker for the May ceremony. But keep it to 20 minutes Asa. We havent got all day! And found time, somehow, for classes with 97 students. The last thing on my list is to pass along the telephone number for John Boehner, Speaker of the House of Representatives. It is (202) 225-0600. Please join me in calling Mr. Boehner to tell him to do his job, which does not include inviting sitting heads of state to visit the United States of America. And for those who insist on telling me that President Obama is pathetic for not paying attention to Mr. Boehners to-do list, you should take a continuing education class in international diplomacy and pipe down. I cant nap while your gums are flapping.
