At home, we dont have cable TV. Unable to concentrate on my writing last night, I tried it out. First I was nauseated by a show about billionaires real estate deals which reminded me that the 1% is getting bigger and more awful by the day while the rest of us struggle to have health care coverage. Then I finally found out who the Kardashians were--eek! Then, a slew of hockey, football, soccer, and so many Spanish soap operas I was amazed. Finally, I found UFC and watched some MMA for book research (Sophie Ang book).It was scary intense and really violent. Finally, completely upset, I turned it off and went to bed with a book. Which is what I should have done in the first place. Mike Neal we are not missing anything not having cable TV. >.
