At its core, Science is simply The way the Universe works. We all too often get this confused with our limited knowledge of it all, which we also deem as Science. The Universe exists without us, and therefor so does Science. Our search for the way the Universe works is and will always be ongoing. Just a few hundred years ago (a single breath in the relative time of the Universe) we couldnt explain what we saw, so the wind was God breathing, the stars were eyes of the dead looking down on us, and so on. Over time we begin to realize there is a scientific explanation for all, but does this mean that what we once thought mystical no longer is? I feel this is where many take sides of Science vs. Spirituality, as people see the word Science and lose all wonder, and upon seeing the word Spirituality, lose the drive to find an explanation for things. Could it be that Science and Spirituality are one in the same? With organized religion it seems the more we learn, the less we feel that spiritual connection, and yet the way I see it, the more we learn about the Universe, the closer we are to it.
