At last nights Parish Council Meeting (far left picture) CCST President Rick Franzo thanked the Parish Council for voting to continue funding the litigation on land use against Helis Oil & Gas. Looking closely at this picture you will also see our Parish President fully engaged and demonstrating keen interest in the discussion. Additionally last night the Parish Council accepted 3 nominations for consideration to be placed on the HRC Review Committee, two of the nominees were Parish Council members and the third nominee was a very qualified representative from CCST. Many thanks to Councilman Jerry Binder for taking the time to meet CCST representative for this committee whom he eventually did nominate. However, even with Mr. Binder strong support and pitch for CCST representative the Council decided to suspend the rules and voted for Councilman Richard Tanner & Steve Stefancik to the already stacked HRC Committee...Below is a picture of one of the HRC representatives Councilman Richard Tanner. (Zzz....) So now we have a HRC committee that is reflective of the fox guarding the henhouse....So we will go through 8 months of listening to how hard they are working, while nothing of any relevance or substance in the actual outcome. Brister then can use this HRC review as one of her platforms when she runs again for Parish President. Window dressing for the citizens.....
