At last some good news Back from Respiratory Physio. Her words Mr Pillage you are a walking bleeding miracle (they actually werent but that was the gist). Apparently someone my age will be very breathless from such a severe operation for up to 12 weeks let alone with the collapse of the lung and being such a long term smoker. There is a little air going into the top part and I did VERY well on my oxygen saturations after and during exercise. Shes showed me some exercises and I have to say I feel a lot better and more positive with the potential outcome of at least this part of the journey !!
