At last the problems associated with Nyamuku Irrigation project was to end last week courtesy of our Govenor Hon. William Kabogo, BUT Few crooks cant let it go for their selfish gains. After our last Development Baraza which was held last month at Mukurwe Shopping Center, It was decided that NO Agri business can prosper without constant supply of water which has now become a problem in the entire Village courtesy of POOR Leaders WHO are Known for their NON performing record. The meeting delegated Mr. Karugu Muturi, RD (Mr. Mugwanja Waithaka) and Mzee Zakary Muniu to follow the root course of the problems associated with this regular water hi-caps. After their Sitting with the Engineer and requesting to know why the problem of water is catching of late and not prior, The Engineer Wrote to the Leaders of the Project - NYAMUKU (Two are from our area, and one who is the NORTORIOUS comes from Nyamangara) and surmoned them to appear before him which they ignored and said that Bwana Karugu is looking for a post of MP hence interfering with their jobs. The Engineer had written to the County Government of Kiambu and through the Office of Our Honourable Governor, it was agreed that, a Phase two of the Project commence immediately through the funding from the Kiambu Government which will mean that, at last the water will remain free for irrigation use. There is a set date for this to start, and failure to honour means that the people of Mukurwe will remain in the hands of this CROOK Leaders to milk them further. By the time am posting this, this same leaders has still ignored to honour the sermon and are against the planned phase 2 so as they may continue to request money from our poor villagers while their homes are full of free irrigation water. DUE to this, an URGENT MEETING has been called on Friday 15th August (this Week) to deliberate on the way forward. I kindly request Patriotic Mukurwean to come out in large Numbers and participate in the Village Building. Me personaly I will be there together with Citizen TV, KBC, Kameme fm, Among Others.
