At long last, Landmark Consulting is proud to announce that our work with Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless to create four new 2-bedroom apartments in Albany is complete. The ribbon cutting ceremony held on Friday, September 20th, 2013 was very well attended and the homes were showcased under sunny blue skies. The “Sheridan Hollow II Housing” project as completed will accommodate homeless families. Landmark Consulting provided full services from master planning studies through construction documents and administration for this $750,000 project on Lower Sheridan Avenue in Albany. This project is the continuation of Interfaith’s initial project which had constructed eight, 1-bedroom apartments in a single structure next door and two, 2-bedroom apartments next to the eight unit apartment building completed in 2009. We look forward to the next redevelopment project with Interfaith anticipated to include a community center a few blocks north up Sheridan to serve the West Hill community of Arbor Hill as well as add five more single bedroom apartments. Landmark Consulting is excited to work on this project which will reuse a former brick parochial school constructed in 1912.
