At long last, the beloved Tonka® is for sale. I am sure some of you have seen me around and likely felt, even briefly, the surreal effect this truck has on its surroundings (particularly on rainy days). Maybe you fantasized about what it would be like to drive it. Well folks, I am here to tell you that if you have ever wanted to: see people smile as you pass by, make people laugh purely by existing, or be the center of attention at a traffic light, then THIS is the SUV for you!! Maybe you like the idea of being mistaken for a Tonka® representative. Maybe you actually ARE a Tonka® representative!! Either way, this machine is built to play; on-road, off-road, pretty much wherever you want! Plus, if you put the seats down you can lay in the back! (Did somebody say road trip!?) Bought new in 2004, I have been the only owner, and this vehicle has been wonderful to me. I have driven it approximately 153,380 miles around a majority of the U.S. and shared countless memories. Ive changed the oil every 3,000-5,000 miles. The seats have been protected by custom-fit neoprene covers for almost the entire decade (included). The floors have had plastic mats to protect the carpet (also included). There is a small hole in the passenger seat (as shown). The puppy-chewed drivers seat belt mechanism functions perfectly. The exterior has a few chips and dings, nothing major. The Tonka® also comes with a tow-package, pet barrier, cargo cover, Yakima rack attachments, and Sirius® XM satellite radio system. Last summer I gave it new shocks, brakes, tires and alignment. It is totally drivable, and it does need a little work. Theres an Indigo Girls CD stuck in the player. The rear sway bar is broken, one of the leaf springs is cracked, and there is a whirring noise that happens occasionally after using the 4x4. Otherwise, it runs great!! This truck would be perfect for someone who wanted to upgrade it to a real rock crawler. I bet the Tonka® would like that! :) $6500 or best offer P.S.
