At lunchtime today the Band were marching at the head of a parade along Forres High Street as part of Morays seventh year of Armed Forces Day celebrations. We got off the coach in the town centre and promptly got a soaking (our uniforms will need some extra TLC in readiness for tomorrows parade in Edinburgh). Military personnel past and present attended and a tornado fly past recieved a round of applause. The Forres and District Pipe Band brought up the rear and people then filtered into the Grant Park for military displays and refreshments.
