At my age I can say Ive really achieved alot though I still have a long way to go. From GSU Academy - Ruaraka to Utumishi Boys Academy - Gilgil and thereafter to The University of Nairobi, I can say that Im always proud of my Educational background. As others thank God for cars, smartphones and the ability to travel around the world spending money and throwing parties, I thank God for how beautiful He drafted my life story even before I was born. I also thank God for all my friends for I know I am who I am today because theyve always contributed alot and I believe its out of Gods liking that I have great friends around me. Being very social, humble and a Man of The People has always been my source of joy and comfort. My friends say Im a comic, always smiling and ambitious but one thing non of them knows is that I am also a son after Gods own Heart. Ive always drawn my inspirations from two great men, King David in The Holly Bible and Haille Sellasie the Ethiopian Emperor. I vividly remember a dream I had almost 20 years ago in which I saw a bright light on this great wall and what followed still remains my attachment to The Great King Davids story in The Holly Bible. In the dream, a King stood next to me and on the wall I could read the words KING DAVID written in bold golden fonts. The second word (name) changed piece by piece from DAVID to MDAWIDA with only the addition of M, V & A to it. At that point I looked around where I was standing and I couldnt see the King again but I was myself dressed up like a King and before me I saw a Great Nation coming forth. That dream changed alot about me and thats where Wesley MDAWIDA The Man of The People was officially born. I therewith assumed the role of leadership at that tender age and went ahead to earn the nick name WAZIRI in primary school and later the title President, being The First President Of The Students Baraza and The Law Club Chairman in the most beautiful National School in The Republic of Kenya, Utumishi Boys Academy. Indeed as The Holly Bible says, God always has a good plan for all of us and we are all blessed in different ways. On that, I would like to give credit to my former classmates who are also my great friends for their determination and hardwork that makes me proud of them to date: Farah Abdinoor Ali - Warant Officer I (KDF), Kennedy Murithi (NTV), Ian Mugoya (SG), Abdalla Kimani (Kenyan Embassy - China), Josephat Kiplagat (YECAGU), Shalo Ahmed (CEC) and of course two great ladies, Regina Mueni (US MARINE) and Caroline Mwole Chebet (CNN). I couldnt mention all but I greatly appreciate all my friends and more so my former classmates because they make my dreams look valid. Let 2015 be a year of great achievements and blessings to all of us. As the Chief Executive Officer Of The Standards & Merit Consultancy Group E.A LTD and The Chairperson Of The Taita Taveta Development Forum, I take this opportunity on behalf of my bigger family/team to wish you all Merry Christmas and a blessed 2015. Shukran.
