At my age, Im no longer shocked or surprised at the things so-called grown people do. These days, it irritates me when I discover -- or even sense -- that people are up to no good. Thats the most emotion Im willing to give people - slight irritation. All I can really say is that Im thankful. I am truly thankful for the gift of discernment that Ive been praying for. My mom is a pro at it. She can glance at ya, blink once and know INSTANTLY if youre no good. And as I become more aware of the idiots, the users, the jealous, the detractors, the trash talkers and the wannabe blessing blockers, I am quickly reminded of how few new friends I need.
