At noon on Saturday, Fit For The Spirit Studio at 3017 Kings Highway and Workout Anytime at 4900 Stewart Mill Rd., Suite M will become host sites for the Guinness World Record. Across America and 11 other countries at noon in all time zones, Project 10 will help thousands start their New Year’s Resolutions. The West Georgia All Stars is a Douglas County subgroup of the Project 10 Challenge. Project 10 members challenge friends, family and community members to join them in losing 10 pounds of fat or gaining 10 pounds of muscle in a 90-day health challenge. Once the participants’ first 10 pounds are lost or gained, Project 10 will donate 30 healthy meals to an at-risk child through nonprofit organizations in the community. As part of the world’s largest group workout, Project 10 will donate 30 healthy meals to an at-risk child fighting obesity for every Douglas County resident who participates in Saturday’s event.
