At odds, once again, with the facilty where mom is. For a couple of months now, the kitchen has not provided enough cups, bowls or silverware and the aides constantly have to leave their posts in the dining room during mealtimes to retrieve more of the shorted items. Then they shorted dessert servings .So I talked to both the head nutrionist at the facility as well as the head of kitchen services in August, who assured me that things would improve and outlined their plans to achieve their goals. Last week, I found out the kitchen has gotten worse, now not providing enough entrees and/or side dishes and now routinely giving out cold food that is supposed to be warm etc... Call the nutrionist and get a call back from the kitchen services manager who now has additional plans to improve and rectify the issues. I listen to him politely and offer a few suggestion and then lower the boom. Ill call you if I find out about any additional issues BUT you have 30 days to fix it or Ill call the ombudsman and have absolutely no qualms about doing so. Enough said.
