At our 7 AM research group meeting on Friday, my undergraduate - TopicsExpress

At our 7 AM research group meeting on Friday, my undergraduate research student, Silvie Tran, presented me with a great hand-woven mural from Ho Chi Minh City... just exquisite; for my birthday present. It is beautiful, very beautiful, and must have taken the author several days to make. It is now my prized possession, hanging in my house just below my B. Sc. First Class Honors certificate from Ife. I had tried my best to go onto Facebook, to alter my birthday to January 1;; but Zuckerberg and em did not budge. I got into my office, and my adopted daughter, Jenny Zhu (Jenny Craig, as I call her) presented me with a good luck charm, and some holy water, sake; which I have already dispatched in the usual way! Maybe I should have several birthdays a year, and that way I get more sake from Jenny!!!! Great to be a teacher, and have students who morph into family. As for my real birthday, I am going up to Bremerton to check the condition of the golf courses we will use for the WAZIGA tournament in 2 weeks....no rest for the wicked! But would have it no other way.
