At our first lespeshtival in 2011, a massive multi-generational potluck feast took place during a musical set from our talented young students, who played everything from salsa, to MJ, to dubstep, before acts like Space Jesus, Supersillyus. Blue Boy Productions, and Sistine Criminals. Bone and iron decor intermingled with digital A/V technology to create a scene that would next year be moved to the industrial wilds of Boston and dubbed lespectacle. That year, students got to share the stage with the likes of Skytree, Mr. Bill, and Bird of Prey The event progressed to Brooklyn last year, featuring Thriftworks, and a host of acts from previous years. This year, we present, LESPESHTIVUS, again in Brooklyn, with special guest and new addition to the musical family, future trap/bass producer Yheti, alongside Schlang, Esseks, Supersillyus, and us, your grateful hosts lespecial. Thank you all who have helped make this a special event over the years that I think has had a substantial positive impact on the education of our students, and the hearts and minds of those involved. We welcome newcomers with open arms, December 11 in Brooklyn!
