At present, we have a Nobel Peace Prize recipient and constitutional lawyer in residence in the White House who spies on journalists; countenanced the torture Bradley Manning; prosecutes and jails whistleblowers; assassinates American citizens; his Department of Homeland Security planned, coordinated , and oversaw nationwide raids on the Occupy Wall Street movement; and has spied on and kept a record of all phone calls. In short, Obama has attempted to criminalize oversight and suppress dissent by acts of intimidation, both flagrant and insidious. Yet, one still hears the feeble refrain from liberal apologists and Democratic partisans, "he is better than Bush and Romney." Obviously, these sorts of rationalizations are resultant from a self-willed myopia, due to partisan casuistry. One wonders, just what would Obama have to do for them to put away their pompoms and acquire some sort of vision correcting eyewear? …Be captured on video, giving the directors of Goldman Sachs a sponge bath and body massage while dressed as a cabana boy? Or would Obama apologists still insist that it would be worse under Romney…for Mitt, no doubt, would have donned the attire of a French maid and bestowed on the banksters, as they say in the massage trade, "a happy ending"?
