At risk of sounding like a broken record, a Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for all but the Presidio Valley through 6am Saturday. Light freezing rain, sleet, and snow will impact much of West Texas and Southeast New Mexico, with greatest ice accumulations expected across the Eastern Permian Basin where new accumulations may be over 0.25. Snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are also possible over Southeastern New Mexico. Conditions will be incredibly treacherous, so be safe and avoid all unnecessary travel! Temperatures Saturday will (finally!) warm above freezing, though refreezing Saturday night may be a problem across much of the area.
