At roughly 10:15 last night I got a phone call that I thought I was prepared for. I couldnt have been more wrong. Our family lost the strongest, most loveable, absolutely most beautiful woman we had. Knowing it was coming did not make it any easier. I am thankful I got to spend 4 of my grandmothers last 6 hours with her. She hung in there long enough for me to get here from Michigan showing again how tough she was. She is with my grandpa now where she belongs. But the grieving has only just begun as we have lost the rock and cornerstone of the family. So many great memories for so long. Helen Smithey I love you forever and always. Thank you so much for the fight you endured and for being the worlds best grandma.
