At some point in our lives we have all felt like we just dont fit in or we feel out of place. Sometimes we feel we have to join in on the the gossip to fit in with the crowd. Or maybe its laughing at a dirty joke to feel accepted by the guys. And commonly people feel the need to go beyond their financial means just to feel that they meet others standards. People tend to forget that Jesus Christ accepts you just the way you are. Instead of putting our energy into trying to impress others we should focus on pleasing God. His opinion is ultimately the only one we should care about. 1 Samuel 16:7 for the Lord does not see as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.
