Travel through rugged Clear Creek Canyon on your way over the Continental Divide while reaching an altitude of nearly 12,000 feet (3,657m). Visit an old western town. See breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains, ski resorts, and Dillon reservoir. Stop for lunch and shopping in the Village of Breckenridge. Go through the Eisenhower Tunnel - the longest, highest, passenger car tunnel in the world. Adventurers ages 5 and up! You will be shuttled to Flagstaff Mountain where you can view the city’s pattern of development primarily shaped by citizen’s recognition of the value of preserving open lands as early as 1898. Then it’s onto Pearl Street Mall where you will experience one of the most successful and economically viable malls of its type. Next stop, Dushanbe Tea House where you will hear about the plans for Boulder’s Civic Area that was shaped by a community collaboration process that engaged a wide range of uncommon participants: scientists, artists, athletes and preschoolers. Finally, wind down at Avery Brewing with a sample of their eccentric ales and lagers. Weird maybe, but fun and informative!
