At the 2nd WAAD in 2009, I spoke about celebrating autism and loving autism. At that time, it was a bit bold as I was told afterwards... Then The Miracle Project Players entertained the 400 or so delegates and the invited guests and the world began to see the possibilities - right there! Last year WAAD 2013, I spoke along with Dr. Stephen Mark Shore , Barry M Prizant, Neal Katz, Valerie Paradiz and others on Celebrating the Abilities and creating opportunities with transitions. I am thrilled to announce that today at WAAD 2014, the first panel at United Nations for WAAD, I heard All panelists speaking about the abilities of individuals with autism and helping to ease prejudice around the world. We have moved from awareness to appreciation and action. Focus shifting from only cause and cure to quality of life!!!! Yay! Great to see Nora Roth-Cohen !!! Its going to be a whole new world.
