At the CORD rally in Kibera yesterday many things were said. Most of them were just of very little probative value that we are now used to: The President is a thief, our victory was stolen, Moses Kuria is this and that. Those are things we have to allow CORD to say now and then to save them from depression that comes with a hat trick of electoral losses. We need them alive so we have someone to defeat, yet again, in 2017. However two things that should not go unanswered. One is Jakoyo Midiwo (Or was it someone else? They all sound to me equally useless) warned that the Safaricom Security Project needs to be stopped.One, Safaricom is the largest corporate in Kenya. Leave them alone.They are listed in the stock market. You might affect the share price. You see the stock market does not just depend on the size of Tilapia you catch. It also depends on the peoples perception about that Tilapia. There is surely a difference here. So why would Midiwo and co oppose this project unless they have a vested interest in terrorism? Secondly, another useless speaker warned that they will sabotage the railway so that Ugandan goods do not pass through. Si Zinapita hii Kibera yetu?. Now that was CORD economic and regional integration manifesto, Kibera edition. But too bad for them. The new Standard Gauge Railway will not pass through Kibera. So if these natural goons want to punish Museveni through kungoa reli, they have only 3 years left.
