At the Closing Plenary Session - Aiming for the Moon and Beyond. Before the closing ceremony I met a very important woman in the ladies. She greeted me and we talked briefly. I thought I was talking to one of the ministers from SA I had interviewed last year at the UN. During the ceremony I sat just a few roles from her. Ok I was equally treated special, a VIP. Interestingly only when former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton announced the recipient of the Clinton Global Citizen Award did I realized it was the founder of the Graça Machel Trust and Foundation for Community Development and widow of Nelson Mandela, Graça Machel. She was honored with for her Leadership in Civil Society. Very interesting indeed. I love it when I meet these important people and I dont realize who they are because we chat normally. God bless this powerful woman.
