At the airport awaiting my flight back to the St. Jude Childrens Hospital to help the Carnival team successfully put on a Dive-In Movie event for the kids and their families there. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to do so! Pics to follow! Speaking of kids, on a separate note, theres a little 8 year old girl named Emily Ruckle that Im asking everyone to pray for right now. She had a very serious, life-threatening, incident occur a few weeks back which has required her to have multiple surgeries and 24 hour medical attention at a hospital in Philadelphia. I had adopted her as my Niece a long time ago because shes an amazing kid with one of the sweetest, most infectious, smiles Ive ever seen (not to mention one of the youngest Platinum CCL guests in the fleet). Anyway, Emily, along with Mom and Dad (Todd and Maria) are going through perhaps the most trying times of their lives and I want them to know that I havent stopped thinking of them.
