At the beginning of November I asked my clients to make a pre holiday health goal, something to accomplish before the New Year. The only rule was it couldnt be about weight loss and size. Some goals my clients had ranged from a 2 min TRX plank to drinking more water to explosive push-ups to a regular bedtime. This was mine--a pistol squat. Teaching multiple classes during the week and being careful not to overtrain for my joints, I dont often spend enough time on my own strength and health goals. So I gave myself this challenge and here I am. This New Year, I encourage you to set goals that are not about weight loss, size or appearance. Being a healthy weight is important, but by focusing on your health and fitness level, I promise youll get there. Set goals to be stronger, fitter, and healthier-- the rest with follow! Heres to your happiest, healthiest year yet! Bring it on 2015!
