At the beginning of another day, Father in heaven, it is good to know that You have promised: "As your days, so shall your strength be."We cannot tell what today have in store for us, whether good fortune or misfortune. But we trust Your promise that You will give us the strength to bear whatever this day may bring; that You will make every experience work together for our good. Lord we are grateful for the opportunities that this day, with Your blessing, offers to provide the things we need. Teach us, while working for the material things of life, never forget that our Savior said: "Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all things shall be yours as well." May spiritual values be first today in all that we think and say and do. Lord help us firmly to believe that You will give us the material things that You know are best for us. Keep us faithful and true today to Jesus Christ and His religion, and may our conduct glorify Your name. Amen.
