At the beginning of the semester in my Teaching Literacy in Elementary Schools method course we had to sign up for a day we wanted to read to our class and bring a snack to feed starving college students sitting through a 4pm-7pm class. Today was my read-aloud day and I chose to read an Alaskan childrens book and bring in yummy (Alaskan) food to share with my classmates. On the menu was raspberry and blueberry akutaq, blueberry muffins, and salmon spread sandwiches. :) After a late night of making food, and a long day of classes and dinner with family, Im glad to be home on the couch watching Miss Congeniality. Overall an aspaiqqqq day. Have a good evening everyone :)
