At the brown bag event on friday a question was posed that if economic disparity were not the reality would there still be issues of poor food choices. Well if economic disparity were not a reality food would be produced locally and farmers would receive a living wage for their work. Most of what we see in terms of food would be drastically changed. Slave labor grants many the luxury of food as a result of people being paid pennies on the dollar.
