At the end of this excerpt the phrase "hating on Washington" appears. How does this differ from merely hating? Is it related to this massive new group of people called "haters?" As far as I can tell, "haters" means people who disagree with the speaker or writer. Is there more to it? Should we consider the preposition "at?" The House of Representatives’ Republican Conference has released instructions to its members on how to spend their summer vacations.
