At the end of this scripture I am going to write, it says to comfort one another with these words... I think the Lord would not have put these words in this particular place in His word had there not been a reason it would comfort Believers in Christ. There are those of you worried about being here in the 7 year Tribulation... well these are the words of comfort to you who think this way.... 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 The Rapture 13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, (Died) lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord (Not the second coming, the Rapture) will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up(means Raptured) together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. (This is not the second coming, Christ never touches ground in this scripture) And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words. In Revelation 3:10 the Lord says: Because you have kept my word, I will also keep you from the hour of temptation,(Tribulation) which will come upon the earth to try them who dwell there. We as Christians will not suffer the wrath of God during the Tribulation because we accepted Christ as Savior and Lord of our life. If we are not raptured how do we come back with Christ at the second coming? When He steps His feet on the Mountain and it splits in half... Be comforted then if you belong to Christ... DO YOU BELONG to CHRIST? is the question...
