At the last minute I packed a little DVD player with about 8 movies. And yes the microwave was my idea. I’m the one who is thinking of the comforts of home. Every night after supper the guys would put this little DVD player with a 7” screen between their cots on a plastic tub and watch a movie. Their ingenuity kicked in again and they hooked the sound system up to a tiny amplifier I had sent. They had to watch the same movies several times over. I sent up some action movies and comedies. No King Kong stuff to give them nightmares. They loved all the movies and laughed themselves silly some nights. Dave is naturally a funny guy and George is the most easy-going guy. They are the perfect “Odd Couple.”
