At the mall with my kiddos ... A lady and her daughter walk up and say Hey, Jeff!! Thank you!! , not sure what they mean... I said for what? u saved my mothers life back in dec.. They went on to remind me of the whole story etc. Not exactly sure I saved her life but glad they feel I made a difference. Ive been a nurse now for just over a year and this is the first time someone has stopped me in public to say thank you for your care. As a nurse, I guess I sorta feel like we do our job because we enjoy it and care, not for the thank yous. Will have to admit it feels nice to hear.
