At the most recent Board of Governors meeting of the State Bar of Nevada, I am delighted to report that Professor Anne Traum was appointed one of three Lawyer Representatives for the District Court of Nevada. These lawyer representatives provide input to the court on a number of issues, including rule changes, new program development, designs for new court facilities and the expenditure of funds from unappropriated accounts. Anne has previously served as the Appellate Lawyer Representative for the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and continues to take leadership positions working with the federal courts in Nevada. Congratulations and well-deserved.
