At the prize-giving day last year, I watched my son wail aloud as he was dethroned to the Overall 2nd Best Student in his school Having topped the class all his life and in three different schools He relaxed and assumed that the first position is his birth-right Whenever I tell him to read All he does is hide and play with my iPad And sometimes he will lie and say Mum,I just finishing reading Until I reminded him that whatever you sow You will reap If you dont read you cant pass Then he went back to his old self (The reading boy) Yesterday,pride and tears welled up in my eyes as he mounted the podium to reclaim his mandate ( collect his prize) as the Overall Best Student He also learned a very important lesson Only HARDWORK and God helps you stay on top! So, #Nigerianwoman fans, if or when you think you have made it Just Remember that,that is just the beginning If you relax and stop doing what took you to the top You might fall down before you know it Even in marriage or relationship Please keep the fire burning .
