At the risk of getting balled out, Im going to express my opinion on something that is REALLY bothering me tonight.....I know of several widow women and terminally sick who need help. When I looked up the dictionarys definition of missionary, I found the following:a person sent on a religious mission, especially one sent to promote Christianity in a foreign country. I respect the definition given and I respect those who are called to go to foreign lands to spread Christianity. What I do not respect are people who miss (or ignore) the LOCAL opportunities to spread Gods love. I dont know of anybody that doesnt own a phone. When you feel the urge to spread Christ, pick up the phone and call someone in need and ask how you can help them. If you lack names/numbers, contact me. I can give you plenty of contacts. Now, if this ruffled your feathers and you feel the need to post some defensive comment, save your time. I expressed my opinion and I dont have the time to listen to why you disagree and why this doesnt apply to you or your church. Im currently knee deep in green beans, which I plan to share with some folks who werent able to make their own garden.
