At the time 9 year old Jacob Campbell was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma in April 2012. Jacob endured 6 rounds of intense chemotherapy, 2 stem cell transplant , 17 rounds of radiation and 5 rounds of painful antibodies Ch14.18. Last year he spent 122 days in hospital. He also went through countless fever, scans, blood tests, blood transfusion, and many surgeries. The cancer went in N.E.D (No evidence of disease) in December. In July 2013 Jacob at age 10 was diagnosed with a secondly cancer called Primary Mediastinal Large B-Cell Lymphoma it is a rare form of (Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma) it is also very rare in children. After one round of chemo the cancer went into N.E.D. But the consequence of this put Jacob poor liver into failure and his kidney was struggling due to the toxic chemo not leaving his body. His body was shutting down and he would need a liver transplant. Jacob could no longer go through any more chemo as it would kill him. But sadly almost 3 weeks later the Lymphoma returned to his chest today, the doctors are unsure what is left for Jacob. Unless His body recovers he is not expected to live much longer, few weeks maybe few months. His body really needs to recover before its spreads more. For now Jacob is on hospices and having a lot of pain. Please pray for Jacob tonight and his family.
