At the time of Jesus, and undoubtedly Jesus participated in this, at the Feast of Trumpets the people would be harvesting the fields. The Jews and the Sojourners worked side by side. At sunset the Priest would go to the roof of the Temple, the four corners, and blow trumpets signaling those that worshiped God to come up to the Temple to celebrate the Feast. Those that worshiped God would drop everything, leaving the unbelievers in the field, And go up to the Temple to worship. This is a picture of the Rapture.
