Most clergy now want to be popular and have access. We dont want to be dangerous. Kings dangerous theology was a risky endeavor. King would be startled and shocked to learn that clergy who often share his quotes and his likeness in our offices but dont share his homilectical approach, theological progressiveism, communal activism and his commitment to justice for all.
