At the turn of the 19th century, the town of Willamette had just 100 people – this didn’t include Bolton, West Oregon City and Sunset. By 1920, the city of West Linn grew to 1,600 and by 1950 it had grown to 2,900. In 1967, the annexation of Robinwood increased the population from 3,900 to 7,100. The construction of I-205 in the early 1970s caused a significant amount of new development in the area. By 1980, West Linn had a population of 13,000 and by 2005 the city had grown to 24,080. #bitesizehistory Help us name the new neighborhood by the Arch Bridge. What do you think we should call it?
