At the vet clinic, there was a family that came out of the back rooms. They all had tears rolling down their faces. I could tell that they just lost a member of their family. There was such strong pain that filled their eyes. My heart ached for them as I held my puppy in my arms. The very thought of being in their position made my stomach sink. It was a blatant reminder to me that life is precious. Its so important for us to appreciate the ones we love because we never know when theyll be gone. Whether two legs or four, there are those who touch the deepest part of our souls. We are never ready to say goodbye. To the ones weve lost and to the ones we are still blessed to be with, I hope you feel our love.
