At their regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday, the Bleckley County Board of Education accepted the resignation of two BCHS coaches. They accepted the resignation of Cliff Kerbo, who had coached boys basketball for nine years. He accepted the head coaching position at Putnam County High School Monday. Also resigning was assistant football coach Ted Belflower. Beflower had coached at BCHS for seven years. He was offensive cordinator and offensive line coach this season as well as head boys golf coach. He has also coached both boys and girls track. Belflower will be taking a football coaching position at Dodge County High School.
