At thirty one,he failed in his first business,and a year later he was defeated in a legislative race. At thirty four he failed in hid second business.A year later the love of his life died,and at the age of thirty five he was so destroyed that he had a nervous breakdown. At thirty eight he lost another election and at forty three lost a congressional race.He lost another at age forty six and again at forty eight. But he ran again when most men would have given up.When he was fifty five he lost a senatorial race and then a year later he lost the race to become vice president.At age fifty eight he lost his second attempt at getting into the U.S Senate.Finally,at age sixty,he was elected president of the U.S.A.His name was Abraham Lincoln.If he had paid attention to his failures he would have thought he was a failure.He reframed his experiences and looked at them as times of learning and growth.
