At this moment what ever what not fresh or current clues of the missing MH370 is starting to go cold. As for the emerging eye witness claiming of what they heard or saw - you cant blame them for trying to help but you also must understand that what ever credibility of what they heard or saw on the night of the event was already compromised and as it might be influence by what ever news they have read or saw during the past few days. What im trying to say is as good and responsible investigator one should not put aside any lead they received and will do the necessary to eliminate every single possibilities to get to the answer or to pursue on other leads or informations. wAllahualam
