At this time 6 years ago Laural Taylor brought me to an after hours care clinic with killer back pain and found out I was expecting baby John William. 6 hours later he was demanding an entrance and 6 hours after that he arrived. Sucking his thumb, a 20 week surprise baby boy was born. Little did we know until the that he had been gone at least 24 hours. Im still amazed by the attachment a mother grows so instantly in such a short time. Baby John touched our lives in such a short time and changed us forever. This isnt a sad day for us. Its bittersweet. I also realized how lucky I am to have such an amazing guy in my life as Jv. The largest emotional rollercoaster weve encountered in such a short time. Two years later on the very same date this beautiful baby Miles came into our world touching more lives in his short 4 years than most have in a lifetime. With the losses of John, Mazee and the disease Miles fights every day weve learned some serious life lessons. You never know what tomorrow will look like. Live each day being the best person you can be. Smile at a stranger, laugh with a friend and most importantly LOVE. Happy 6th heavenly Birthday to John William and a Happy 4th to the strongest fighter I know that keeps me smiling every day... Miles Owen.
