At this time of Remembrance for WWI, lets go to a relevant WWII story. How many of you know that the Chelsea Pensioners were evacuated to Rudhall and Moraston House Bridstow. They had strong links with Brampton Church and Brampton School as Rudhall is part of the Parish. How is this relevant to WWI - most of the pensioners in the hospital would have been veterans of WWI at that time. Does anyone know who the bride and groom at Brampton were where the Chelsea Pensioners provided a Guard of Honour in 1940s? The second photo is of some of the pensioners outside Rudhall Manor.
