At this time of year, we know many non profits are asking for canned, dry foods, turkeys and hams and monetary donations for the holidays. We are one of those places which also need the community help to reach out to the hurting families in our area. And The MORE Center gives tax deductible receipts for your monetary or material donations. You can also designate what Community Unity Program of our center that you want your gifts to go toward. People often turn to us when they cant feed their children and are cold in a home with no heat or worse..are homeless. We have been able to help many of them who turn to us for over 5 years now. We have seen many tears in that time and pray with all who will allow us. We have also been blessed to see faces smile with joyful tears, seeing that God really does care and uses people who love him to spread not only the gospel of Jesus Christ, but also his good works of concern for them. We ask you to help us continue on with many resourceful blessings to reach out with. We are also told of house fires, domestic violence, and hungry kids and many more hardships. There really are families in our area who have the stomach pain of hunger as they try to sleep at night. We are doing as much as possible to make that pain go away, but it takes all of us. The moment anyone walks into the center they are greeted with a smile and free food and drink out on a table of refreshments. We are determined at The MORE Center to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Just a few canned or dry goods for our food pantry can make a family see the hand of God! And it only takes one gift to make a childs face light up at Christmas and know that God does love them. Please consider being a part of this great ministry outreach to hurting people.
