At what age do babies begin displaying temper tantrums? My 9 month old has begun what I believe are temper tantrums and I am at my wits end. He has already been incredibly clingy towards me and now if I am not holding him 24/7 he throws a fit. He could be playing with dad perfectly fine, but if I walk past the room and he sees me-melt down. I try to put him down to make dinner and he throws a level 3 fit with crying to the point he starts to sound hoarse. I dont believe in CIO but I also need some sanity back. Some days I really just want to sink to the floor and cry right along with him. His front top teeth have been trying to come in for weeks now and there are bumps all along his gums. Could this be teething? He is generally the sweetest boy and people just love to make him smile, but then he just snaps when it comes to me not holding him.-Anonymous
