At what point did you become a man? The criteria for becoming a Man in society is the point when you cease to be a boy, the system tells us this is around the time we start puberty, some as young as 8-9 years old, up to 15-16. But I would offer this suggestion, We become a man when you stop the boyish naiviety, and continually keep making the same boyish mistakes you made during that puberty stage. Now can you put an age on that? How many times have you entered in to a committed relationship and still tried to roll out as a gyalis? How many times have you not gone to see your kids, because you decided to go clubbing the day before? How many times have you disrespected your partner, but told them and the world that you love them? Are you a man yet? As men we will lead our children and our peers through life and teach them where our mistakes stopped or restricted us from spiritual and mental growth, Where our knowledge was filled with pride rather than wisdom , and we impeded our ability to do the right thing. We become men when we know what us right and wrong, and no matter how tempting wrong is, we always do right. That is when we become Men.
