Atahaulpa was a brutal guy in his own right, executed his own - TopicsExpress

Atahaulpa was a brutal guy in his own right, executed his own brother, Huascar, to take the throne of the Incan empire. Only held it for about 15 months before the Spainards swooped in and executed him, today some 481 years ago, and ended the Incan Empire. We feast like Emperors ourselves, starting with a Lagunitas Imperial Stout while we finish up the prep. Domesticated Guinea Pig isnt really bred for their meat here, so we had to substitute with a butterflied Pork chop, but still cooked in the traditional way stuffed with a rosemary sprig and a fire heated rock, served with mushroom quinoa and roast acorn squash, washed down with some Kona Firerock pale ale. Jeffrey seems to think the beer is referencing a different firerock than my hot river stones, but he always was a bit of a pedant. We finish up with some coca-cola mousse. The Incas liked that coca leaf, a lot, and used it regularly. Hard to find actual coca leaf round these parts, so we improvise. A good meal to go out on a break. Travelling will interrupt our meal for the next two weeks, but well be back in three with a traditional roast.
